Day 1-Drive Addis Ababa to Awassa, 275KM

After early breakfast drive to Awassa, on the way stop at Ziway for a boat Trip to visit St. Marry Zion Church believed to Host the Arc of the covenant during the troubled periods of the Christian kingdom of Islamic invasion. The lake is also rich in its aquatic biodiversity and you may also see hippos and Crocodiles. After lunch in Ziway visit Abijata-Shalla Sanctuary and continue to Awassa

After Breakfast drive to Yergalem to visit the Sidama tribe Village. Sidama tribe is well known for producing one of the best quality coffee Arabica in Ethiopia. Hike for 1 to 2 hours to the coffee plantation were you will witness how the Sidama tribe harvest the finest coffee without the aid of modern Technology, after wards participate in a traditional Coffee ceremony and head back to Awassa

After breakfast visit the fish market, Lake Awassa and the Columbus monkey park in Awassa. Afterwards drive back to Addis Ababa via Shashemene were you can visit the Rastafarian (Rasta) People, continue to Addis Ababa with a stop at Rift valley lakes
